What is a digital pen?
Digital pens are the fastest and most efficient way to capture hand written information and store it to your computer.
Never loose a note or phone number again!
Used in exactly the same way as a
ball-point pen, digital pens capture and save your handwriting as you write on digital pen enabled paper, such as the Elephant Calendar.
Along with a traditional ball-point
pen tip, digital pens contain a tiny camera. As you
write on the paper pages of your Elephant Calendar,
the digital pen records the pen's movement across
the surface of the paper. The movement is stored as
series of map coordinates.
Everything that
you have written with your digital pen is transferred
to your PC when you place the pen in a USB cradle
or by utilizing Bluetooth technology (depending on
the model pen you are using). On your PC, Elephant
Calendar software converts the map coordinate data
back into images of your handwriting for viewing and
archiving.
